Backyard Barbeque Sponsorship Opportunities

It’s the unofficial start of summer!

On Friday, June 23rd at The Westin Convention Center, Providence Connections will host its 12th Annual Backyard Barbeque.  We invite you to help the families we serve who are 
living in crisis by supporting our Annual Fundraising Event. 

Take a moment and imagine a summer without barbeques, a summer without family outings to amusement parks, a summer where you’re worried that your child will fall behind in 
school because you cannot provide them with the educational advancement they desperately need during the summer break. 

For many of our families, their reality is one we could never imagine. In our own backyard, there are families living in poverty, struggling to thrive as a successful family unit. 

Providence Connections continues to be an anchor for families in need in the community by providing comprehensive programming and unique opportunities to families living below
 the poverty line. More than ever, Providence Connections fills the growing gap for Northside families that require more in-depth services to ensure 
that they are thriving as a family unit.

You can help provide more opportunities to these families in need through your participation as an event donor or sponsor.  

All proceeds will benefit low-income and at-risk families who receive services at Providence Connections. 

Your attendance and generous support allow us to continue to serve over 400 families through;

• Early education and kindergarten preparedness for disadvantaged children from birth to age 5
• Academic support and enrichment for school age children
• Home visits by Family Development Specialists to offer support for families of young children
• Summer camp for at-risk children who otherwise might not be able to experience 9 weeks of swimming, field trips, museums, sports events, outdoor exploration, and much more
• A caring environment that offers safety, supportive listening, and a sense of belonging for families experiencing crisis
