Summer Camp Turns Up The Heat

June 25, 2015

Always one of the most popular in the area, Camp Providence is underway!

This year’s camp for children aged 5-12 runs weekdays from 6:30am to 6:00pm through August 14.

Campers are provided with a daily nutritious breakfast and snack, and enjoy enrichment classes in art, science, dance, health and literacy, as well as daily recreation, including swimming. (PFSC employs two full-time registered lifeguards certified in water safety.)

On a weekly basis, children enjoy field trips to local sports, arts, cultural and recreational venues, courtesy of the Tickets for Kids foundation. Past special activities have included steel pan drumming, rock climbing, canoeing and other water sports.
