Childcare Programs

  • As one of our core initiatives, Providence Connections offers a full range of child care services. Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and accredited as a Keystone STARS 4 facility, PC provides a clean, attractive, safe, secure and comfortable environment where children thrive.

For over 30 years, Providence Connections has been the trusted home-away-from-home for hundreds of Pittsburgh families, and it’s easy to see why. The Center has seven separate classrooms specifically designed to address the developmental needs of each age group. Each class follows a consistent daily schedule and weekly lesson plan that touches on the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards and addresses the unique learning levels of the children.

We elevate the standard of daily care by integrating dynamic additions into our curriculum—from hands-on exploration in our STEAM-focused Maker Space to our dedication to healthy habits with the Real Kids, Real Food program. Supported by strong community ties and engaging university partnerships that bring enthusiastic student mentors into Providence, we provide an unmatched environment where your child can truly thrive.

When you choose us, you are choosing a community deeply invested in your child’s success.

You might have seen the Keystone STARS logo, but what does hitting a level 4 actually mean for your child's everyday experience?
